Our Story
Where We Began
Our story begins in 2002, when our founder began advising organizations across West Africa, Europe, and North America — helping them evaluate their work, understand their data, and make clearer decisions.
In 2013, that work was formalized as Altitudes Internationales, delivering business intelligence, evaluation, and leadership capacity-building to organizations internationally. As the practice grew, it specialized: its capacity-building arm became the Business Intelligence Academy in 2015 — later authorized by Burkina Faso's Ministry of Education as a tertiary institution, and established in the United States as the Business Intelligence Institute of Management (BIIM).
Altitudes Internationales' consulting and intelligence practice became B.I.M. Corporation — the firm we are today. From a single advisor to an international practice, one commitment has stayed constant: helping organizations turn information into confident action.

Leadership / Founder
Led by Nakel Nikiema
B.I.M. Corporation was founded by Nakel Nikiema, who has spent more than two decades advising and evaluating organizations across Africa, Europe, and North America. A 2025 Marquis Who's Who Honoree, he has taught business intelligence at the graduate level at CERCO, an international graduate school, and holds the Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) designation from the Institute of Management Consultants USA.
His conviction — that business intelligence is a discipline every organization can master, not a technology reserved for a few — is the foundation of everything B.I.M. Corporation does.
